One of the most common booking mistakes we see: undersizing the container.
It makes sense — you look at the pile of debris and think it'll fit in a 10-yard. Then the demo starts and the pile is three times what it looked like before it was broken up. Demolished drywall, stripped flooring, and framing material takes up far more volume loose than it did assembled.
Here's a basic sizing guide for projects in Lompoc, CA:
When you call A2 Portable Toilets for a dumpster rental in Lompoc, we'll walk through your project before recommending a size. It takes two minutes and saves you from ordering a second container mid-project.

Most single-room remodels fit in a 10-yard container. Full kitchen or bathroom gut-outs typically need a 20-yard. Larger projects — whole-floor renovations or full home cleanouts — usually require a 30-yard. We'll help you choose during your quote call in Lompoc, CA.
Yes. Roofing debris including shingles, underlayment, and flashing is accepted in our standard roll off containers. Asphalt shingles are heavy, so we recommend sizing up if roofing is the primary load.
Standard rentals include a set number of days — typically 7–14 depending on the package. Extensions are available and priced by the day. Let us know before your rental window closes and we'll extend it without hassle.
Prohibited items include hazardous waste, paint, chemicals, motor oil, propane tanks, tires, refrigerants, and certain electronics. General construction debris, household junk, furniture, and yard waste are all accepted. Ask at booking if you have a specific material in question.
